Hospice
MHA...An Association of Montana Health Care Providers specially recognizes the unique needs of our many members who provide extended care services. These services include both hospital-based and freestanding skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, home health, hospice, and senior housing. Mirroring our hospital services, MHA influences public policy, advocates for reimbursement and regulatory reform, shares information, and provides educational and networking opportunities specifically for those who are committed to providing quality, long-term, compassionate care to Montana's disabled and elderly residents.
MHA is affiliated with three national organizations located in Washington, D.C.: AAHSA (the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging), representing nonprofit homes and services for the aging; NAHC (the National Association for Home Care), representing home care agencies, hospices, home care aide organizations, and medical equipment suppliers; and NHPCO (the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization), representing hospice and palliative care programs and professionals.
