Health Care At-A-Glance

MHA’s Health Care At-A-Glance provides a snapshot of Montana’s health care environment at a given point in time, along with long-term statewide trends.  This publication highlights the hospital and health care community in Montana by illustrating data for utilization, finance, personnel, demographics, economics and geriatric services.

It is MHA’s hope that the Health Care At-A-Glance will help promote a better understanding of the economics of health care and assist health policy makers to understand the impact of their decisions on access and quality of health care in Montana.  In the end this information makes the case for all Montanans to work together to ensure access to high quality and affordable health care services. 

The information contained in MHA’s Health Care At-A-Glance is statewide and national in scope.  Data was gathered from a variety of sources, including the AHA Annual Survey of Hospitals, state and federal agencies, and MHA’s national partner associations.
